What they do
The North Sydney Club is an entertainment venue providing first-class club facilities that include dining, pokies, billiards and a gymnasium complemented by a convention centre overlooking the Sydney harbour.

Objective
The newly refurbished North Sydney Club required launching to the market and encouraging members to utilise the facilities more often with particular emphasis on the convention centre. Working with Denise Johnson and Zoe Blanusa, Insomnia needed to develop a strategy to increase the number of events held at the venue and people using the entertainment facilities.

Solution
Insomnia provided a detailed strategy to include inviting locals to a free lunch down at the convention centre to see the newly refurbished facilities, rebrand the club with a fresh new look to match its new facilities as the old brand was a dated, design brochures, develop a new website, telemarketing, public relations, promotions and set up a customer relationship management program.

Result
The North Sydney Club now has a new look that is consistent with the position it would like to have in the market. The look is fresh, innovative and modern. Consistently events are being held at the club with high attendances and the website has recently been completed giving the club a better opportunity to gain leads from locals wanting to use the facility for private and corporate purposes. We also have developed corporate packs that have been directly mailed out to over 500 businesses in the area. The response has been fantastic and continues to lead to interest in the venue. The North Sydney Club is also now better recognised through these marketing activities and its brand awareness has increased by 70% in 6 months.
